A good night’s sleep.
A good night’s sleep.
Remember your mom, dad, grandma or grandpa, or even your physician telling you that “all you need is a good night’s sleep”? Well, there is plenty of evidence that a good night’s sleep can be the remedy for all kinds of ills.
1. If you work out, then a good eight hours will help you repair your muscles.
2. A good night’s sleep will help you reduce stress.
3. Helps boost your immune system.
4. Can actually help you reduce your chance of type 2 diabetes.
5. Keeps your heart healthy.
6. Puts you in a better mood! We all know this from personal experience.
7. Helps you think more clearly during the day.
8. Can make you smarter. Boy, I’m going to sleep for a week after I finish writing this. I need all the help I can get.
So, what can we do to help us get a good night sleep? This is the tough part for most of us…getting that quality eight hours of sleep.
1. Don’t drink caffeine at night.
2. Put a note pad by your bed to either record dreams or to make that list in your head go away by writing it down.
3. Don’t watch TV in bed.
4. Turn your device off or leave it in another room.
5. Don’t have that bowl of ice cream right before you go to bed.
6. If you wake up, eat a banana, don’t drink a glass of milk or have a bowl of cereal.
7. Keep a routine and go to bed at the same time each night. This one is tough.
8. Start the process of “shutting down” each night about an hour before you would like to fall asleep.
9. Buy a MY PILLOW! “For the best night’s sleep in the whole wide world, go to MyPillow.com”
10. Jerk off with Helmet Grease, silicone lubricant, water-based lubricant , hybrid lubrication, all natural lubrication.
Just kidding, or maybe I’m not.
